RSI’s Digital Asset Management module permits the warehousing of all elec- tronic print and image assets needed to create marketing collateral, such as photos, graphics, illustrations, and text, allowing users to manage their in- ventory with the ability to order from and view inventory in real-time, 24/7, from anywhere in the country or across the globe.

 

Using the module, Communicorp’s major luxury hotel client can now access the electronic assets it needs instantly, from any location, rather than searching among files maintained at its corporate headquarters, various international properties, or Communicorp’s facility. The Digital Asset Management module also enables the client to reduce the costs of obtaining assets such as pho- tos. Previously such photos would have been extracted off a tape backup and sent by email or mailed as a CD.size in downloads. As another efficiency, clients can search documents by key word.

The linked use of RSI’s Digital Asset Management and Inventory and Warehouse Manager modules in Dolan Wohler’s D-Commerce website over the last two years has enabled a new line of business. Use of these modules, along with RSI’s Web-to- Print Collateral Manager, has led to increased printing business overall and tighter links with customers.
